Julia Partington

Julia Partington is a British writer and journalist whose work has appeared in The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and the Independent. She worked for the BBC for 27 years as a television and radio producer and reporter in current affairs, features, readings and drama. She writes both non fiction and fiction. She currently lives in Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest city. “I am really interested in flash prose–both fiction and non fiction–as a genre because in broadcasting and newspapers, every word counts. I think there is a real skill and craft to the genre. I have started only recently writing flash prose, and have really enjoyed the process.”
