Hermon Joyner

Hermon Joyner is a freelance writer and photographer living and working in Portland, Oregon. He is a magazine writer, blogger, published poet, and textbook author who takes pictures of mostly inanimate objects, and spends a good deal of his time hanging out in coffee shops, frequently with a double Americano at hand. Hermon is married to Kathy and has a daughter named Clair, and has had three cats in his life: Maelen, Melitta, and Frieda. His poem, “The Huntress," was inspired by Maelen, who was the best cat in the world.
